Philadelphia is a historic city that has plenty to offer, and people who live here love getting out and having fun. There are countless cultural, historical, and architectural spots to explore, and for those who are new to the city, there are some must-see locations that can help them get acclimated to their new surroundings. At EZ Storage®, we love meeting people who have just moved to the city, and we love helping them find the ideal self-storage solutions for their belongings. Once you’re moved into your new home and have your valuable items safely stored, you can get out and see the birthplace of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

Independence Hall

US ConstitutionPerhaps the most iconic building in the city, Independence Hall is where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed. You can see where the United States began and learn all about the history of the Founding Fathers such as Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and many others.

Entry tickets are required from March to December, and there is no charge for entrance. You don’t need to get a ticket if you’re visiting in January or February.

Citizens Bank Park

Outfield view of Citizens Bank Park stadium If you’re a baseball fan, then you have to take in a game at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies have been playing ball since 1883, and they are the oldest one-city franchise in all of professional sports.

Citizens Bank Park (also called “The Bank” or “CBP”) opened in 2004, and there’s nothing better on a summer day than watching America’s favorite pastime in the city where the country began. The ballpark is only a 20-minute drive from our State Road facility, so if you need to drop something off before you head to the game, you won’t have to go too far out of your way.

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

Located in the heart of Center City, PAFA has an amazing permanent collection of traditional and contemporary works by a number of world-renowned artists. You can also find plenty of temporary exhibits on site throughout the year.

Philadelphia Zoo

There are monkeys, lions, bears, and more, and when you’re done at the zoo, you can take the kids a few blocks away to visit the Please Touch Museum.
